   Consul edit

   Metellus died early in the year (a). Cilicia was withdrawn from the command of Lucullus and assigned to Marcius (b; see 67, Promagistrates). A brother of Metellus Creticus, and son of C. Metellus Caprarius and grandson of Q. Metellus Macedonicus (c).
