    A candidate for the consulship of 64 (a). The identification of Curius with the member of the Catilinarian conspiracy (RE no. 7), though defended by Hölzl (FP 32f.), is rejected by Münzer (RE no. 1). An ex-Quaestor expelled from the Senate by the Censors of 70 would hardly have time to be a candidate for the consulship of 64 (see Mommsen, Str. 1.522, note 3).
