    Broughton: Held office in succession to Messalla from May 1 to October 1 (a). Serving in Octavian's forces with Statilius Taurus, he defeated Antony's cavalry and won Deiotarus Philadelphus of Paphlagonia to Octavian's side (b). See (c).
