  1. Tribune of the Plebs

    Broughton: He proposed the measure which deprived Caesetius and Marullus of their tribunician powers (see above; a), and it was said had already drawn up a bill at Caesar's wish empowering Caesar to marry such and so many wives as he wished (b). He was killed by the crowd after Caesar's funeral by mistake for the Praetor Cinna (c). On his identification with the poet Cinna, see Plut.
